A Case Report of Postherpetic Neuralgia Improved by Oriental Medicine

Abstract

|
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effects of oriental medicine on 69 years old patient with postherpetic neuralgia.
Methods : The patient was treated by oriental medical treatments such as herbal medication, Bee venom pharmacopuncture, acupuncture and so on.
Results : After the treatment, Visual Analog Scale(VAS) scores and Inconvenience degree(ICD) were decreased.
Conclusions : This study shows that the oriental medicine is effective on postherpetic neuralgia.
